Let’s celebrate International Yoga Day with an introduction to yoga by Dr. Prerna Arya, Assistant Consular Officer, Consulate General of India, Chicago followed by a lesson on immunity building through Ayurveda from Dr. Anju Chetia, Ayurvedic Doctor, Lotus Ayurvedic Center in Mumbai, India, and finishing up with meditation, a breathing exercise, and light yoga with Pam Brockman, Senior Faculty from the Art of Living Foundation.

About the Presenters

Dr. Prerna Arya is a Vedic scholar and Assistant Consular Officer at the Consulate General of India, Chicago. Dr. Arya is well-versed in yoga and teaches classes on Indian culture including discourses on meditation, yoga, veda, and upanishads.
 

Dr. Anju Chetia is an Ayurveda and Panchakarma consultant practicing at Lotus Ayurvedic Centre for 18 years. She specializes in treating a number of ailments including osteoarthritis, rheumatism, obesity, skin allergies, asthma, diabetes, and many more. She has presented on Ayurveda in India and Europe has conducted workshops on Panchakarma in Barcelona, Spain.
 

Pam Brockman is a senior teacher at the Art of Living Foundation and International Association for Human Values and has been a full instructor since 1998. Based in Chicago, she travels internationally and teaches the Happiness Course, Sahaj Samadhi Meditation, Sri Sri Yoga, the Art of Silence Course, and many more. She has been practicing meditation and self-development techniques since 1971.
