About the Presenter:  

Nancy Schaller

nancy-schallerAs the Director of Business Programs for Career Advancement, Nancy has primary responsibility for advising Trott Business Program students, as well as oversight for all of Career Advancement's business programs. Nancy spent over fourteen years in Wealth Management at J.P. Morgan, where she served as a private banker to senior executives of Chicago-based corporations and as Vice President of Marketing and Communications. During her career at J.P. Morgan she also supervised liberal arts graduates participating in the firm’s corporate rotational training/MBA program.
Nancy began her career in public accounting with Deloitte and has also worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Melissa Leffin

melissa-lMelissa Leffin leads Business Career Services within UChicago’s Career Advancement Office, advising and supporting undergraduate students interested in careers in business. Prior to joining Career Advancement, she spent over 8 years in the consulting industry, focused on talent and change management for large-scale business and technology transformations. Most recently, Melissa co-led the Change Enablement practice for Rightpoint, a national digital agency, and spent almost 7 years before that in the Talent & Organization practice at Accenture.
During her time at Accenture, a portion of Melissa’s role was focused on career counseling and recruiting efforts, which ignited her passion for career advancement and advising. Melissa has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison where she studied Marketing and was heavily involved in the Business Career Center.

Linda Yeh-Ostrinsky

lindaLinda Yeh-Ostrinsky is a Business Career Services adviser within UChicago’s Career Advancement Office supporting undergraduate students interested in careers in business. She has over 15 years of experience working in different brand management and integrated marketing roles for firms such as Time Inc., Energizer Personal Care, ConAgra Brands and U.S. Cellular. Linda earned her BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. In her spare time, Linda enjoys volunteering at PAWS Chicago, swimming (but not competing) on her master’s swim team, and cooking.
