Considering a Long-term Career Transition

Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 12pm (Central)

Some people make a career transition, while others consider a transition and decide against it. We will explore both possibilities and methods for determining what is best for you and your career.

For those who decide to stay with their job/career, we'll cover:
  • Tools available to help you evaluate a significant career transition.
  • How to reflect on what made you think of leaving in the first place.
  • The importance of evaluating what are you looking for or running from.
  • How to think about the sunk costs you've put into your current career.
  • How to actually make a transition.

And for those who decide to stay in their current career and not make a transition, we'll address:
  • What you can do while maintaining your career to make your life even better.
  • Why staying in your current career does not have to be a #fail -- it can be a great new chapter.
  • How to be sure you have adequately considered why you were thinking of changing careers and appropriately closed the book on that option.
  • How can you convert your current unfulfilling career/job into one that fulfills you.
  • Whether you decide to leave your current career or stay in it, you will leave the webinar with more clarity and tools to move forward.
